in Costa Mesa
(2 blocks south from South Coast Plaza Mall. Exact address will be given after registering)
What to expect:
- 5 intensive boutique-style classes. Each class is 2 hours long. (Not intensive as in difficulty to rush through the material, but rather continuous slow pace learning with little breaks). Total 10 hours of salsa training!
- Get to dance with the teacher or teacher's partner for immediate feedback on your leading/following!
- A less expensive alternative to private lessons. Or a great way to start in this small intimate group format until you are ready for private lessons later.
- Limited classroom size. 6 men (leads) and 6 women (followers) or less.
- No partner required to attend. You will be assigned a practice partner if you don't have one yourself.
- No additional beginner classes to take after this course. This will cover all salsa basics plus next level elements and moves. All that's needed! It's just practice afterwards.
- No drop in's of additional people during the course. Pre-registration only.
- Please no masks in class nor vax proof will ever be asked. Be aware of your hygiene. Free breath mints, sanitizer and water is provided.
- Casual dress and wear smooth sole shoes. Ask me to see sample tango shoes when ready.

Hello, I'm Maestro Marcelo Rivero

I specialize in teaching Argentine Salsa (and Tango) for social dancing and exhibition performances. I was voted favorite male dance instructor of the year and won several local pro/am competitions with my students.
Together with one of my partners, I'm known not only for my smooth and elegant dancing, but also for being a very patient teacher and ability to break down moves so anyone can do.
I guarantee you will like my course. If by the end of the 1st class of the course you signed up for, you sincerely don't feel I helped you and don't see the value, then I will either refund your tuition or credit towards private lessons with more personal attention or shoes, etc.
Life is a dance anyways! We look forward to guiding your new journey and seeing you express yourself through tango in class!
